- Venky talked about
three proposals that needs to be presented in a
meeting.

Association for Blind, Karnataka - will be taken up by Sriram.
- Asha Delhi
implementation of Govt. commitment to have 25% reservation of seats for
underprivileged children in private schools which are recipients of
Govt. subsidized lands – will be taken up by Kavitha
- Project
in Tamil Nadu – will be taken up by Kavitha G
ORGANIZATIONAL: Asha Seattle Meeting Venues - Ken
- Ken
presented three options for possible East side venue of future Asha meetings.
- Microsoft
Campus (YES: 4)
- Either
Redmond Regional Library or Redmond
Town Center
while prioritizing the Library (YES: 8)

ORGANIZATIONAL: Project Selection -
Kavitha
- Kavitha raised the
question of our approach towards handling proposals which might not fit
into the Asha Seattle scope at all.
- The
main question was what would be the screening process, and the
feasibility of bringing all such proposals in meetings.
- An
extensive discussion took place. We decided to take up this issue in a
future Asha workshop.
