Minutes of the meeting on Saturday November 15, 2003

Attendees: Sumathi, Vinay, Pragati, Amit Sahai, Sanjeev J Nair, Manoj MP,
Anand Ramaswamy, Subash Khot, Sudhakar, Hansa Shah, Uday Jain, Giri, Shashi,
Rajani K, Sreedhar.

1) Funding of $3,200 for Nalamdama approved after a presentation on the
same by Giri.

2) Khajurdaha update:

	LTTO upgrade completed. Updates are available at the website.

3) No to the recent Decision Making Process proposal as our concerns are
not accomodated.

4) Hansa wanted some extra support from Asha Princeton for contingencies
in the Asha Sanctuary conference in India. (Asha Princeton is supporting
the conference with $1000 already). It was decided to wait for more details
from her before we decide.

5) WAH representatives: Sudhakar (from last year), Pragati, Rajani and
Khot.    Pragati, Rajani and Knot  please subscribe to Asha-Wah
yahoogroup.

6) Sudhakar gave a ten minute talk about a project he visited, the Haritha
Ecological Institute at Palvancha, in Khammam district in Andhra Pradesh.
This is a school with a hostel that tries to impart education with
environmental focus. They document their activities in the form of teacher
manuals.  Sudhakar will write a site visit report.
