1. Meeting started with a movie on the work being
done by Prakash and Manda Amte in Hemalkalsa. If
anyone is interested in watching the movie, please
contact Sridhar or Sumathi.

2. Vasundhara mid-year project review:

Vikas updated the group on the work being done by
Vasundhara for the Science on Wheels project supported
by Asha Princeton. Asha Princeton supports the
recurring expenses involved ($10K/ year). Consensus
at the meeting was that we should send the funds for
the project ($5K for half a year) as soon as possible
as the academic year has already started.

A few questions were raised at the meeting to come up
with the metrics to assess the effectiveness of the
project. Increase in science awareness/ scores in
exams of students exposed to the SoW program versus
their baseline data was proposed as one of the
metrics. Vikas will provide the available information
to the group and will request Vasundhara to obtain the
current information.

Asha Princeton volunteers who could not attend the
meeting are requested to send their project related
questions to Vikas by August 26th.

Sridhar volunteered to scan non-electronic project
information to be uploaded on the web for easy access.

Ravi volunteered to be the co-steward for the project.
