Minutes of the meeting held on July 9, 2005

1.  Asha's (WAH) Work-An-Hour campaign is on.  Our
Chapter's Khajurdaha project is included as one (among
others) that would benefit from the funds raised
through WAH.  Sridhar explained that, unlike in the
previous years, this time the projects would receive
funds only if the donors make a request that their
contributions go to a specific project.

What it means for us is that we publicize WAH among
Asha's well-wishers known to us and request them to
channel their donation to Khajurdaha (the website has
a built-in feature for doing this).

2.  Kumar made an excellent point that since
Khajurdaha is located in West Bengal, we should
especially tap into the Bengali community to generate
support for the project.  

3.  Sridhar encouraged our Chapter membership to
participate in the Team Asha marathon. Please contact
