Dear Friends, Following were in attendance at our July 6 meeting: Sumathi, Vinay, Dipali, Uday, Santanu Chakraborty (welcome to Asha Princeton, Santanu), Anirban and Amrish. Most of the discussion was around organizational issues. The undersigned is taking over the role of Chapter Coordinator from Sumathi. She will help me get started and continue to be a valuable asset to our team. Anirban will get back to Nuware and ask for time to respond to their request. Meanwhile Sumathi will collect information from Sridhar and Giri on Khajurdaha and Nalamdana before she leaves for India. Dipali is heading the database effort. She felt that the database should have not just the contact information on our supporters but also information on their level of interest so that we can seek their help, when needed. It was felt that each project should preferably have two coordinators who would function as a team. With Sanjeev leaving, Manoj is in charge of work relating to the website. Santanu volunteered to take ownership of the Newsletter. He will take help from Rajesh in order to get started, if necessary. The East Coast Conference will be at Princeton on Aug. 24 - 25. Stay tuned for more details. We felt that the general public (i.e. people outside of Asha Princeton) should not have access to our postings. Currently, our membership on yahoogroups is open. Anirban agreed to look into this. The next meeting will be on July 20. I will send a notice with agenda later in the week. Regards. Amrish
