Following are the minutes from our meeting on 7/3/99. The attendees were: Sai, Shanmuga, Sridhar, Giridhar, Sathyakama, Manohar and Rohini.

Shanmuga discussed the Asha-2000 project: its short-term objective of evaluating the impact of Asha's work with NGOs in India during Asha's first 10 years of existence; its medium-range objective of bringing Asha's projects together; and its long-term goal of developing closer synergies between activist and development-oriented groups in India.

Asha-2000 is presently in its Preparatory Phase and several action-items have been identified for project information collection and documentation, funds management (bank account etc.), projects analysis, web-page design, audio-visual material editing and development. Schedules/deadlines were decided for:
- Bank account
- Project submissions from different Asha chapters
- Pledge drive for Asha-2000
- Identification of web-team
- Project info collection
