Task 1: Souvenir design and production- Vinay is in charge of producing the souvenir and should receive all advertisements by the 15th of May at the latest. Task 2: Dipali will send (upload) list of volunteers with emails and phone numbers by Monday. Task 3: Dipali will also send above list of volunteers with assigned names of call volunteers to encourage these absentee volunteers to show up for fundraising meetings and help with activities. Task 4: Ticket Sales- The goal for individual sponsorship is 10K Following were the commitments people made for the revenues- Name Individual Tickets Total Rev (Ind x $100 + Tix x $15) Sponsorships Uday 3 10 450 Rajesh 5 125 2375 Vikas 5 25 875 Shobha 3 15 525 Dipali 1 30 550 Sumathi 6 50 1350 Shankar 1 10 250 Suren 3 100 1800 Vinay 5 20 800 Rohini 3 15 525 Sujit 5 10 650 Himanshu 5 10 650 Sudhakar 5 10 650 Amrish 5 30 950 Kumar 25 30 2950 Total 15,350 The top three contenders are in bold. The trick to slowly and steadily unthrone them is to get corporate sponsorship- ek hi jhatke mein ek hazaar! The goal for corporate sponsorships were set as- 3K (of this 1.5k is at risk). To replace these, new leads were identified, and responsibilities assigned. The corporate leads and the assignees are- Corporation Responsibility Syntel Suren ICICI Bank Suren Intelligroup Sumathi NY Life Himanshu Met Life Rajesh Academy Honda Himanshu TV Asia Rajesh/Shankar ITC Prakash Ahuja EBC Radio Vikas/Suren The goal for the souvenir was set at $3K. Dipali will send out previous years' sponsors and related volunteer who elicited the ads. Vikas and Suren will coordinate on the EBC radio sponsorship. It was decided that we will maximum spend $250, and we will produce the ad our self. Going forward, people agreed to read emails regularly and respond quickly. Conference calls will be decided upon as we come closer to the event. As people were leaving, Manoj and Amit Sahai were spotted- they will probably agree to 1000 dollars each! Dipali, Vikas, Sumathi, Vinay and Suren left to pitch tickets to unsuspecting Raaga patrons. Wishing them success.
