Minutes of the meeting held on March 19, 2005 (Minutes by Priyanka.) Attendees: Hansa, Ananya, Hetal, Sridhar, Shankar, Ravi, Kumar, Amrish & Priyanka Hansa gave a presentation on the Sanctuary-related Workshops that she helped organize in Pune and Lucknow during December and January. These forums brought like-minded organizations together so that they could share their experience regarding the education of the children of sex-workers in general and girl children, in particular. Updates to our fundraiser: * AID (Asha?) ppt. presentation is being taken care of by Hansa, Sridhar & Priyanka * Project poster is being taken care of by Hansa & Sridhar * Our volunteers for the MC position are Hetal, Hansa & Anish * Rohini is working on our big flyer. We'll wait for the big poster but Kumar will, in the meantime, print 8x11 fliers. He will bring them to our next meeting so we can start putting up fliers ASAP. * Ananya will update our website with our fundraiser details. * Hetal will give our big flyer, when it's done, to WYBE. * Vijay, you'll still be printing the big posters, right? * Kumar & Sridhar will reach out to the Tamil community contacts they have. * Kumar will ask Deepali for our database of contacts. * Ananya, Anish & I will sell tickets to Princeton University students & will contacts P.U student organizations with our fundraiser details. * We need to find out how many tickets Gitanjali has sold so far. * We also need to find out how their ppt. slides (for the theme idea) is going! * Kumar has already secured 10 sponsors. Let's join in selling as many tickets & reaching out to as many sponsors as we can. * Ananya has put up all our fundraiser meeting minutes.
