Minutes of meeting on March 15  - by Amrish

In attendance at the meeting were:

Kumar, Suren, Amit, Sumathi, Vinay, Anirban, Amrish,
Vish Murthy, Dipali and Uday.

All discussion was centered around the fund-raiser
scheduled to be held on May 31 at 6 PM.

1. Attendees felt that subject to a "Yes" from
Jaywant, we should go ahead. Suren mentioned that
Jaywant is checking with the singers and musicians and
will get back to us with a firm answer very soon.

2. The venue has been confirmed. We will hold the
event at 

Crossroads Middle School
195 Major Road
Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852

(The directions to be printed on tickets/flyers etc.
should read:

Coming on Route 1 South (from NYC or North Jersey):

Make a jughandle turn onto Major Road (10 miles South
of NJ Turnpike Exit 9).
Stay on Major Road for about 2 miles.
School is on your left.

Coming on Route 1 North (from PA or South Jersey):

At traffic light, turn right onto Major Road and
proceed as above. )

3. Suren will coordinate the printing of tickets.

4. Printing of flyers and brochures to be decided.

5. Approaching the corporate sponsors is something
that has to be done right away. Kumar was persuaded to
take the lead in getting the letter and the kit ready.

6. Same as above with regard to individual sponsors.

7. Vish Murthy was welcomed. He provided us with names
of people who should be contacted for support. We look
forward to his help toward Asha's success.

I suggest that we have a meeting on Saturday at 3:30
PM at the usual place.  All are invited.
