Meeting on Saturday February 7. (Minutes by Manoj)

The following people attended the meeting:
Amrish, Vijay, Shankar, Sumathi, Vinay,
Hansa, Subashree, Ravi Gangavarapu, Raghu,
Vikas, Sridhar, Amit, Pragati, Manoj.

1. Asha Fellowship proposal for Anu and Krishna.

	Sridhar presented the Anu/Krishna proposal, which was presented in
	the last meeting. In the last meeting it was agreed in principle
	to support them. It was discussed again and those present agreed
	with that decision. It was decided to fully fund the Fellowship
	for one year, or until Asha Fellowship group decided to fund them.
	Asha London is also looking into this proposal. Asha Fellowship
	support usually last for 2 or 3 years.

2. SUPPORT.

	Sumathi made a presentation on her visit to SUPPORT, and a
	proposal from them. The chapter shall consider various aspects
	of the project, with out now considering funding their proposal
	ourselves. Everyone should send any questions to Sumathi, who
	will try out find the answers. We shall discuss this project again
	at a later meeting.
	
3. Asha Scholarship

	Sridhar updated the chapter on some confusion prevailing in sending
	funds to Asha Scholarship Project (run by Asha Chennai).  Asha Princeton
	has been acting as a conduit to funds for other Asha Chennai project,
	from other Asha sources. This has resulted in some confusion, and we
	have not yet sent $1000 sanctioned in February 2003. This will be sent
	out soon. There is also a proposal for continued support, which needs to
	be discussed.

	It was decided that our chapter cannot be officially involved with other
	projects of Asha Chennai, and we should not have money from other
	chapters/individuals send to these projects via our chapter.  Also
	Sridhar explained to the chapter that Rajesh, as the steward/Asha Star
	has arranged funds from different sources for the Asha Scholarship
	project. This money can be considered Asha Princeton's contribution,
	and can be routed through the chapter's accounts.

4.  Due to lack of time, it was decided to postpone the discussion on
    Chilla and Manoj's site visit to the next meeting.
